Next.js 16 with Payload CMS 3 inside the same server, on PostgreSQL. Roles, drafts, media, enquiries, applications and analytics in /admin. The build needs no database and the server applies its own migrations on start.

The brief
A company site built from a formal PRD, in English and French, that the team can keep current without a developer.
What I built
Public pages rendered from tag-cached CMS data, so edits made in the admin appear immediately and the production build needs no database. A Payload admin with roles, drafts, media, enquiries, job applications and analytics. Contact forms with validation, a honeypot and rate limiting, tested end to end with Playwright.
Stack
Next.js 16 App Router and Payload CMS 3 in one TypeScript server on PostgreSQL 17. Mailpit for development email, Docker Compose for the infrastructure.
